Stroll Through an Old War

A mutilated man walks, leaning on crutches, along the stadium of the Ciudad Universitaria de Madrid, where students are exercising, and which was once the scene of one of the bloodiest episodes of the defence of Madrid. The man, who lost a leg in that very place, remembers what happened while he looks at the cloud covered sky and the remains of the ruined walls, walls full of shrapnel and trenches.
